To keep up his South Carolina campaign, Republican presidential hopeful Vivek Ramaswamy will be in Dorchester County on Saturday. At the Dorchester Shrine Club, Ramaswamy will be the featured speaker for a fundraiser for the Dorchester County Republican Party called the Faith, Family, and Freedom Dinner.

The visit to South Carolina by Democratic Presidential Candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. coincides with Vivek Ramaswamy’s return. The Ohio biotech entrepreneur has held past campaign appearances at the Iowa state fair.
On Saturday, some 300 people will attend a Republican event that was completely booked out. There will be a start time of 5:30 PM.

For the third year in a row, the Dorchester Republicans will host the Faith, Family, and Freedom Dinner, and this year they are “even more excited” to welcome a presidential candidate. Many polls have Vivek Rameswamey in second place, and most have him in third. He will be our keynote speaker this year. Wright expressed his enthusiasm for this year’s keynote speaker, a rising star in the Republican Party.
The South Carolina Democratic Party was contacted by News 2, and a statement on Ramaswamy’s arrival is pending. The Dorchester Democratic Party was also contacted by News 2, but they denied an interview.
